The Centre for Family Violence and Sexual Violence Prevention published the Sexual Violence Workforce Capability Frameworks(external link) in 2026.
The next phase of the implementation of the Sexual Violence Workforce Capability Frameworks is developing Implementation Tools and Guidance to support and assist workers, organisations, and other interested groups across the sexual violence system to apply the frameworks to their setting. The Centre is seeking interest from organisations and communities who want to be involved in the design and development of these tools. The creation of easy to use and effective tools and guidance is critical to the capability uplift vison that the frameworks outline.
The first tranche of draft implementation tools has been published below. If you would like to give feedback on these implementation tools, or become involved in a working group, then please email relationshipsthecentre@preventfvsv.govt.nz to be put on the distribution list. The Centre will send out regular updates about the tools and opportunities to feedback on the draft tools and guidance documents.
Finalised tools and guidance will be published in 2027 after the incorporation of feedback and testing.
Please note that only the Essential Level tools have been completed at this stage. The tool for the other levels will be published after the consultation period.
